Your current online store will continue to operate normally during the migration. However, this means we need to resynchronize all data just before the switchover to ensure all the latest data is in Shopify. This is also the exact moment your new Shopify store takes over your old one.

2. Some products have specific data fields. Will those be transferred as well?

3. Does this also apply to SEO data?

4. And will my customer and order history also be transferred?

5. Can my current online store remain active for that period?
Yes, that's even necessary to remove your data.
6. Will my old links still work afterward?
Yes, redirects are created for all old links so that Google and other search engines see that you've moved and you maintain your SEO ranking.
7. Will my online store be offline for a while?
No, as soon as your new Shopify store goes live, visitors will be redirected there.
8. Will I still have to do the work myself?
We need your input for a smooth migration; you don't have to do any technical work yourself. We'll take care of everything so you can continue to focus on your business.

Yes, the 60-day period only starts after we've prepared everything based on the inventory, and we assume you'll respond adequately to our questions to avoid any delays.

11. Is Shopify easy to learn, but can I manage it? 😬
Shopify is an intuitive platform that anyone can learn to use. They also offer a wealth of information and resources for you to consult.
12. When can I cancel my current subscription?
Make sure you know your contract term and how far in advance you need to cancel, so we can ensure your new Shopify store is ready on time.
13. Can I start with a Shopify trial account?
Yes, we'll create your free Shopify trial account from our Shopify Partner account and transfer it to you later, requiring you to choose a paid subscription. This is before you go live, so the trial is primarily used to develop your Shopify store. However, certain features may require a paid account.
14. Am I tied to an annual subscription with Shopify?
No, you can also pay monthly and cancel, or simply pause your store for a while if you prefer. You have full control over your Shopify account.
15. Are there any other unexpected costs?
We're always transparent upfront about the costs you'll incur as a business owner, and so is Shopify, as you can see on their website and in their Theme and App Store.
16. Suppose I ever want to migrate away from Shopify, is that even possible or very complicated?
Good question! And yes, it certainly is. And perhaps the best news is that you can use our migration service for this too, making it very easy. We can help you migrate your data to any other platform at any time!

* Disclaimer 60-day delivery guarantee:
1) The 60-day guarantee refers to working days, Monday through Friday. The 60-day delivery guarantee only takes effect after we have received and collected all necessary data and information. The start date of the data migration we provide is the determining factor.
2) During a data migration, the basic principle is that the data will be transferred as it is in the current webshop (database). If data optimization is desirable or necessary afterward, this can be done upon request, but this will always be additional work and the 60-day delivery guarantee will be void. We also reserve the right to (partially) outsource any data optimization to the client, as they possess the necessary product knowledge.
3) If we require additional information during the project, we expect a response within a maximum of four hours and that any additional information be provided immediately. Otherwise, we reserve the right to revoke the 60-day delivery guarantee.
4) If we experience a delay of more than one business day due to the client, we reserve the right to revoke the 60-day delivery guarantee.
5) To technically enable data import, ownership of the Shopify online store must be transferred to the client; the remaining balance of the order must then be paid first.
6) Automatic data migrations to the Shopify platform are always limited to the capabilities of the Shopify APIs. Any manual data migrations or data changes are not covered by the 60-day delivery guarantee.
7) Any Shopify App subscription fees are always the responsibility of the client and are paid directly to Shopify, or in some cases directly to the app providers. This also applies to any custom apps.
8) If the client opts for a custom design for their Shopify store, the 60-day delivery guarantee does not apply.
